Mr Prakash qualified in 1990. He trained in Scotland and completed a Hip and Knee Fellowship in Australia in 2002. He has been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Coventry since 2002.

Mr Prakash has a particular interest in hip and knee replacement surgery including hip resurfacing. He talks extensively on these topics regularly in meetings and conferences both nationally and internationally.  His research interests include femoral head blood flow, outcomes in hip and knee replacement.

 As an honorary associate professor his responsibility lies with teaching and examining medical students attached to his firm as well as post-graduate students when invited. He trains orthopaedic registrars and overseas visiting Fellows attached to his firm routinely.
